Jon Tester's party building

In between congressional sessions, netroots hero Jon Tester heads back home to work on his farm. Except lately.

TX-Sen: Tester is raising money for Rick Noriega while Rick serves his annual National Guard duty.

AK-Sen: Tester went up to Alaska (where no one ever wants to go because it's so far away) to raise money for Mark Begich.

OR-Sen: Tester didn't just campaign for Jeff Merkeley, but also launched "Farmers for Merkeley".

SD-Sen: Tester lent his hand fundraising for Tim Johnson when the South Dakota senator was recovering from his serious illness.

That's not even including the fundraising he has done for his hometown governor and senior senator -- Brian Schweitzer and Max Baucus.

It's this kind of party building that makes me glad so many of us helped out in the day to get him elected.

Update: As noted in the comments, he also helped out at a YearlyKos fundraiser in 2007.
