Yeah, I am sick and tired of it too, so I am going to do something about it. I hope you do, too.
And Harry is up for re-election, and his poll numbers suk, and he knows it. What I think he doesn't know is that 75+% of America wants a Strong Public Option in HCR, so it's our job to tell him.
So, if Harry thinks that passing any old HCR bill is a victory, it is not, and that 75% that wants a PO is going to be severly PO'd if he doesn't get it done.
And we gotta be the ones that tell him.
After a month of getting screamed at by raving wingnuts, I am sure our Democratic Senators are glad to have Harry Reid as their leader. The boxer who never learned how to throw a punch needs to get his shit together, and we should be there to help him.
So, let's get in touch with Harry, and tell him how we feel.
My letter to Senator Reid :
We NEED a Robust Public Option, not a privitized sham, not a Co-Op.
If you truly respect the late Senator Kennedy, you will support a Public Option as strongly as he and his HELP committee did.
Dems have the Presidency
60 Senators and a Filibuster Proof Majority
a Huge House Majority
and a
78% public approval for a public option
If we can not get a Robust Public Option to private insurance now, our Democracy is totally broken, and Democrats WILL pay the price in the ballot box.
It is time to be a leader, Senaotr Reid, and push our Democratic Senators to support a Robust Public Option.
Otherwise, accept the fact that there will be a LOT of Primaries coming up for any Dem who opposes a Public Option, and that icludes YOUR SEAT, Senator Reid.
Please, for our nation's sake, help complete your colleague and our hero Senator Kennedy's dream.
The time has come.
I hope you do the right thing.
This is, by far, the most respectful letter I hhave ever written Sen Majority Leader Harry Reid. I figure youu get more flies with honey.

If you have had enough of the dithering and bifuckingyousanship as I have had, you should tell Senator Reid so and why in the most polite terms possible.
After 8 years of wingnutty lunacy I have had enough. I did NOT elect Democrats to sit idly through 2 more years of it, or 4, or 8.
It is time to TAKE CONTROL OF THE DEBATE, but we need our leaders to lead, to motivate themselves and us, and it needs to start at the top.
So tell Harry Reid what is on your mind, and share your message to him in the comments below.
Please RecommendKossack War Horse's diary to Donate $1 a day to progressives until the Senate gets behind a Public Option. This worked on Norm "Sore Loser" Coleman, let's make it work again!
Please Recommend Slinkerwink's action diary as well, and if you can, go to Firedoglake and throw a couple bucks to our Progressive Health Care Heroes who are fighting to keep a Public Option in any bill that comes out of the House. They need your support.
Thank you very much, and good luck to you, and us all,
MoT
