"Politicizing" Gun Control: Cry Me A River Jane Sanders
As Hillary Clinton held the latest in a series of panels and discussions with family members of those affected by gun violence, Bernie Sanders' top personal surrogate laced into her approach Thursday.
"I just don't like to see it be politicized. I think that Secretary Clinton's gun record is a lot more spotty than Bernie's," Jane Sanders, the wife of the Democratic presidential candidate who spoke
with CNN, after the network cut away from coverage of Clinton's panel in Hartford, Connecticut, that included, among others, the daughter of the principal killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012.
...
Nelba Marquez-Greene, whose daughter was killed at Sandy Hook in 2012, remarked before Sanders' comments that she came to the event "knowing I would be the subject of ridicule and ire, online harassment and abuse and knowing that people would make mean comments like 'Oh there goes Hillary, using those Sandy Hook families.'"

Really Jane?
Remember when Bernie Sanders "politicized" the death of Erica Garners father in an ad that hit New York?

Was Bernie using a Victims family member for political purposes?
No! These issues need to be talked about and dealt with through sensible gun control measures and the education and retraining of our police force in this country.
Guess what? That's a real revolution. That's how change happens!
To make those changes we need to hear stories like that of Erika Garners father and the Sandy Hook victims.
The NRA and politicians who do their bidding scream every election: "The Democrats are going to take your guns!" Every time, Gun sales skyrocket, and the gun manufacturers, dealers, and the NRA line their pockets.
I haven't seen any legislation to take Guns away from law abiding citizens, or those without mental health issues.
I am a gun owner and NEVER will become a member of the NRA who in fact DO politicize guns in this country just to line their pockets.
I am sick to death of politicians who do the NRAs bidding while people die at the hands of someone wielding a gun who shouldn't have had it in the first place.
Your own husband said:
"I think guns and gun control is an issue that needs to be discussed," Sanders told NPR's David Greene in an interview airing on Thursday's Morning Edition.

Was he "politicizing" it too, Jane?
It is fair game to talk about these issues
It is fair game to talk about Bernie Sanders record with the NRA and voting against sensible gun laws like the Brady Bill.

So cry me a river, Jane. Maybe if you spent some time with a victim of gun violence you might change your tone.
The perfect response: Jane Sanders said offensive things, Erica Smegielski invited her to lunch.
