Qatari Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Thani said that his country is reconsidering its role as a mediator between Israel and Hamas for the release of the hostages and ending the war in Gaza. At a press conference he called, Al-Thani said negotiations have been going on for some time, but the mediators' role is limited. "The mediators cannot promote things that both parties are not interested in," Qatar's prime minister said. He added that "unfortunately, we also saw that an injustice was done to the mediators while taking advantage of political interests."
Al-Thani noted that contacts between Israel and Hamas are now at a sensitive stage, but still are not progressing. "Qatar is making an effort to reach a breakthrough and put an end to the suffering of the Palestinians and to release the hostages simultaneously," he said, "Qatar wants to promote peace, not war, and it demands this from Israel as well, so that the Palestinians can live safely."
Sounds like they are a little miffed, maybe even ticked off or even peeved.
I wonder who does not understand what the role of a Neutral negotiator is?
Don’t tell me. Oh, I know: Could it be a [or more] Republican(s)? Nope.
Hoyer Statement Urging Qatar to Apply Pressure on Hamas to Accept Reasonable Hostage Release and Temporary Ceasefire link to himself
“Negotiators have spent considerable time and energy to forge these proposed agreements. Although Israel has said it would accept these proposals, Hamas has either rejected them or returned to the table with outrageous demands time and time again. Hamas has also sought to use its intermediary Qatar – which has long helped finance, back, and house the terrorist organization – to exact greater concessions from Israel. Instead, Qatar needs to make it clear to Hamas that there will be repercussions if it continues to block progress toward releasing the hostages and establishing a temporary ceasefire. Consequences ought to include cutting off funding to Hamas or refusing to grant Hamas' leaders refuge in Doha. If Qatar fails to apply this pressure, the United States must reevaluate its relationship with Qatar.
There are plenty of others [Israeli Ministers, but they complain about everything]
OK, I’ll assist them with an example:
Ethical Standards for Arbitrators & Neutral Evaluators link to NY courts
STANDARD I
IMPARTIALITY
An arbitrator or neutral evaluator should conduct the ADR proceeding in an impartial manner.
An arbitrator or neutral evaluator should act at all times with the utmost impartiality and evenhandedness. An arbitrator or neutral evaluator should handle only those matters in which the neutral can remain impartial and evenhanded. The arbitrator or neutral evaluator should withdraw if unable to do so at any time.
Ethical Considerations
1. An arbitrator or neutral evaluator should avoid all conduct that gives the appearance of partiality toward one of the parties. The quality of the ADR process is enhanced and the reputation of the ADR Programs protected when the parties have confidence in the impartiality of the arbitrator or neutral evaluator.
2. The role of the arbitrator or evaluator is to issue a determination or an evaluation based solely upon the objective facts and merits of the case. An arbitrator or neutral evaluator should avoid partiality or prejudice based on the parties’ background, prominence, personal characteristics, economic importance, performance at the ADR proceeding, or any other factors.

Do any of these maroons actually give a fuck about the Israeli hostages or just enjoy the spurious points garnering [political brownie points] competition more?
