I haven’t seen this published here yet, so I thought I’d make it the subject of my first post. William Rivers Pitt was an eloquent voice of sanity in a world gone mad. For many years, he was a mainstay at liberal bastion Truthout.org. I and many others eagerly awaited his essays, finding them powerful and elegantly composed. Taken too soon, he leaves behind a small daughter and a grieving family. You can read more about him at Truthout, and here:
