This little bunny has a full load. Margie got this.
First, news of bigjac: As of Wednesday night, he was still in the hospital but was told he would be released Thursday. He is happy about that. The doctor tells him he is drinking too much water and not eating enough. I can believe the water but not the lack of food but I am not a doctor. I am sure he is bored as we all get when we are out of our element. He sends his hugs to all of us.
Today was my last guild meeting before Easter, so I handed out all of these crafts as door prizes. I was surprised at the excitement of getting them but they all found new homes and some could have found 2 or 3 homes. So come below the ad and see what I did.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

The place looks empty with all of them gone. I made a few. This is a little wall hanging is made of corrugated cardboard with wooden eggs and bunny. The back ground is burlap. I used a microfiber car towel to cover the bunny here and in another craft. It worked great.
This little framed piece has french text about carrots. The bunny took on great texture when I dried him with a heat gun and the Styrofoam kind of shriveled. I like it!
This little crate was just the right size for these eggs and fuzzy bunny. I liked the vintage egg graphic.
This wall hanger was much sought after and there was great gnashing of teeth heard in the hall when it was taken rather early. The background texture is supposed to look like birch.
This sleeping bunny is a calendar page. It fit so nicely on that pizza (yes) tray.
All the carrots on this swag are made from cardboard. We all have tons of it in this age of delivery.
Gingham bunnies in a carrot patch that serves as a nest too. This holiday is a little confused sometimes. But it has wonderful opportunities for crafts.
This wonderful bunny is a napkin and I think he is so cute. I was sad to see him go but I can’t keep all this stuff. The roof is made of blades from a Chinese wooden fan.
I think I worked the hardest on this one and you would never know to look at it. The background is burlap again and I used the birch technique as well.
Of course, there had to be a truck. This was a blank and I painted it with water colors. I am getting better at shading but not enough to write home to mom about.
I think this was the first one I made. Another pizza pan design. The background is painted to look like ship lap and I am pretty good at it now.
Sunbonnet Bunny was another one that got snapped up and some members were disappointed. I couldn’t get another right sized bowl for the body or I might have made a couple of them.
I may make something for myself, the FSM knows I have enough supplies. It has been fun. The next theme will be spring. But right now, I am getting back to quilting for a little while.
Happy Easter to all even though it is a few weeks away. Crafters have to work early to be ready so folks will want things for the holiday.
