Wikileaks Is Exploiting Seth Rich's Murder Again

WikiLeaks is pointing followers to purported screen caps of Twitter direct message exchanges between Guccifer 2.0 and a former Playboy playmate to once again fuel speculation that murdered DNC staffer, Seth Rich, was assassinated for leaking DNC emails.

The alleged exchanges between Guccifer 2.0 and Robbin Young, also known by her “Erotic Look-Alike” moniker, Marilyn Moanroe, are a mix of flirtation bordering on cybersex, horrendously bad erotic “poetry” about a blowjob, an obscene abundance of heart emojis, Young’s pro-Trump/anti-Clinton political views — and the money shot — the dubious claim that Seth Rich was murdered for leaking DNC emails and documents to the entity known as Guccifer 2.0, who alleged confessed:

“his name is seth, he was my whistleblower”

“I suppose u know who i'm talking about”

"i'm eager to find fact about seth, i'm sure it wasn't just a robbery"

"i'd be greatful to u if there's any chance u can help me find the person who can find the evidence seth was assassinated"

WikiLeaks has been anything but reluctant when it comes to fostering the belief among millions that Seth Rich was the source of the DNC emails they released. In an interview with Fox News’s Megyn Kelly, recorded the same day as the above messages were allegedly sent, the often coy Julian Assange left ample room for interpretation in responses to questions asked about Rich:

"We're very interested in anything that might be a threat to alleged WikiLeak sources," he said. "We're not saying that Seth Rich's death necessarily is connected to our publication. That's something that has to be established. But if there's any question about a source of WikiLeaks being threatened, then people can be assured that this organization will go after anyone who may have been involved in some kind of attempt to coerce or possibly, in this case, kill a potential source."

Kelly said that it sounded as if he was suggesting that a man who leaked information to WikiLeaks was then murdered.

"If there's someone who's potentially connected to our publication, and that person has been murdered in suspicious circumstances, it doesn't necessarily mean that the two are connected," Assange replied. "But it is a very serious matter ... That type of allegation is very serious, and it's taken very seriously by us."

However, when it comes to the suggestion that Guccifer 2.0 was the source, the answers have been far more definitive — it’s all media conflation:

Assange: Okay, so this is interesting. There's a conflation between the three things. Wikileaks publications, and I've told you what James Clapper says about them. They can't see how the Russian's transfer them to us, etc. They have impact everyone's talking about. Alleged hacks of the US voting system. You've just mentioned the DHS for example. And other publications appearing on the internet that basically almost no one has heard of, that didn't have any impact in the election, in fact might have had the opposite impact. So in this last category there's a site called DC Leaks and another, a Wordpress site run by a guy calling himself Guccifer 2. Now, who are behind these, we don't know.

Hannity: Do you know these people?

Assange: No. And there was a couple of publications also by The Hill and by Gawker, and the Smoking Gun that claimed that their documents came from, I think from Guccifer, maybe this DC Leaks. So those look very much like that they're the Russian's. But in some ways they seem very amateur, and they look too much like it. And so this is what, far from me to quote John Bolton who I think said I should be executed or something, but he has said correctly that if something looks so much like it is meant to be the Russian's, then maybe someone wants you to think that.

This is in spite of numerous claims by Guccifer 2.0 that “he” was the WikiLeaks source.

Not surprisingly, considering their obvious promotion of the Clinton-or-the-DNC-murdered-Seth-Rich-for-leaking-emails-to-WikiLeaks narrative, WikiLeaks also tweeted a link to the front page of the site hosting the alleged Twitter DM archive, a page where the site operator speciously speculates that Guccifer 2.0 was actually a persona thrown together by the Clinton Campaign to head-off the pending WikiLeaks release alluded to by Assange in an ITV interview just days earlier.

(7) With Motive & Means - Those More Likely Linked to G2 than Russians

It seems like there's a good chance Warren Flood has involvement to some degree but even if that's true - he personally had nothing to lose due to the emails, so, who would really be behind such a scheme?

The more thought I've given it, it seems most probable that one particular group would have been particularly desperate precisely at that time, for the emergence of a narrative about Russian hackers to discredit proper leaks / justify claims that all leaks are 'probably doctored' and they will have very likely known Flood too.

That group is the Clinton Campaign.

While the author, whose name may or may not be Adam Carter, does an admirable job of identifying a few curious details in the metadata of a handful of documents provided by Guccifer 2.0, his hypothesis relies critically on dubious assumptions and offers a purely speculative interpretation that ignores more plausible explanations.

It’s beyond the scope of this post to offer a point-by-point debunking of the author’s hypothesis but it doesn’t even pass the smell test. For instance, the DCleaks.com domain was registered on April 19th — months before the Assange's June 12th interview.

Excluding the possibility of a DNC-operated time machine or prescience al a Minority Report, it seems exceedingly unlikely that the either the campaign or the DNC would have registered the domain in anticipation of its future use.

But perhaps the most glaring problem with the hypothesis, one that seems to concern neither its creator nor WikiLeaks — as they throw shit against the wall to see what sticks — is that the purported DM exchange they’re using to promote the Seth Rich assassination and ”the hacks were really leaks” narratives tends to completely contradict this separate narrative of “Guccifer 2.0” as a hastily fabricated persona used to invalidate the then pending WikiLeaks releases!

Why would a DNC/Clinton operative spend months on an elaborate ruse only to tell destroy it in cybersexy direct messages to a former playmate and bit part actress from the 80’s?

And why would a DNC/Clinton operative, without any prompting at all, implicate his bosses in the murder of Seth Rich?

I refuse to believe that these conspicuous inconsistencies escape the notice of the folks at WikiLeaks. That can only lead me to conclude that Wikileaks is wantonly exploiting the murder of Seth Rich as part of a continuing campaign against Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

Julian Assange Deliberately Deceptive in Hannity Interview?

Dozens of mainstream outlets and countless news blogs have picked up on statements made by Julian Assange to Fox News’s Sean “I never claimed to be a journalist” Hannity during an interview conducted at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London which aired Tuesday evening.

As reported on the Fox News website:

"We published several ... emails which show Podesta responding to a phishing email," Assange said during the first part of the interview, which aired on "Hannity" Tuesday night. "Podesta gave out that his password was the word ‘password’. His own staff said this email that you’ve received, this is totally legitimate. So, this is something ... a 14-year-old kid could have hacked Podesta that way."

Sure, the dismissive remark about the possibility that a “14 year-old kid” could have been behind the spearphishing attack is technically true, it ignores what has been uncovered about the nature of the attack.

Security expert Matt Tait, who tweets as @PwnAllTheThings, did an excellent breakdown of the publicly available evidence regarding the spearphishing attack on Twitter. The tweets can be viewed in this HuffPo UK article but it suffices to say, he doesn’t find the 14 Year-Old Kid Hypothesis particularly compelling:

While Assange might be easily forgiven a bit of hyperbole, along with his speculation about adolescent threat attackers, he made another claim which appears to be, for lack of more imaginative phrasing — a straight up lie.

"Podesta gave out that his password was the word ‘password’.”

First and foremost, we know that the password wasn’t “password” because Google doesn’t permit users to set a password of “password” for their Google accounts.

Far more likely what Assange meant wasn’t the plain English word password but rather “p@ssw0rd” with two non-alphabetical substitutions. While ever so slightly better, that is still a horrible password that nobody should ever use.

Disturbingly, Assange seems to have taken a page right out of the “fake news” playbook as the basis for his claim is almost certainly the exact same misrepresentation of the contents of an email from Wikileak’s Podesta Emails archive that was making the “fake news” rounds two weeks ago.

The email in question has can be viewed here in the Wikileaks archives. Here’s an excerpt of the relevant portions:

Here we see that the password in question has absolutely nothing to do with Podesta’s Gmail account. In fact, it appears to be a temporary password created by the person responsible for setting up what was likely a Windows AD domain account for Podesta at the Center for American Progress (CAP) in 2015.

The only question in my mind is whether Assange was ignorantly repeating fake news or as I suspect, being deliberately deceptive.

Heeeeeeerrrre’s Donny! Trump’s slide into outright insanity is every bit as rapid and disturbing as that of Jack Torrance in The Shining and he’s doing an arguably worse job of masking it.

As reported by The Hill (bold is mine):

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump raised eyebrows at a rally Sunday, when he claimed his rival would let 650 million immigrants into the county.

Hillary Clinton “wants to let people just pour in,” Trump said at a rally in Albuquerque, N.M. “You could have 650 million people pour in. … You triple the size of our country in one week.”

650 million in a week? That would be more than the population of every country in South and Central America and Canada combined.

My first thought was that this was a whole new level of wtf even for a complulsive liar and habitual exaggerator of Trump’s caliber but in truth, it falls far short of what a large percentage of Trump supporters are completely willing to believe.

I’m reminded of this bit from Public Policy Polling’s Florida poll from two weeks ago:

Alex Jones floated the notion this week that Hillary Clinton is actually a demon, and 40% of Trump voters say that they really do think Clinton is a demon to only 42% who dismiss that idea. This measurement pretty clearly shows that 40% of Trump's base is the InfoWars crowd, so they're not going to be too dissuaded by allegations of sexual misconduct.

Not that many years ago, what’s happening in this election could have been the plot of a cerebral horror flick. If you’ve ever wondered how the everyday German could have possibly fallen under the spell of Hitler — wonder no more.

When I read the tweet my first thought was wtf is JEW-S-A? Then I watched the video and I understood — it was a Trump supporting Infowars drone not-so-cleverly replacing the “U” in the “U-S-A” chant with the word “Jew.”

Why? The man in the Infowars “Hillary for Prison” shirt explains in his own words:

In my opinion, the biggest stories of this election are how far the formerly-fringe of the right-wing has infilitrated into the mainstream of conservatism and how Trump has been going further and further to pander to their delusions.

It’s no longer merely a question of how much he lies. His rhetoric has fallen beneath the domain of fact-checkers and into a bleak fact-phobic underworld of rabid paranoia and froathy-mouthed hate so divorced from reality that under different circumstances, family members would intervene and beg him to seek psychiatric care.

Ugh.

In my last post, I promised to reveal more links between the formerly-fringe, Citizens for Trump, the Trump Twitter troll army, the “Taco Truck" guy, the egged Trump supporter and more.

I’m here to deliver on that promise. There’s a lot of ground to cover so please forgive me in advance if I start meandering.

These efforts were greatly assisted by the WordPress site for Latinos With Trump which allowed minutes from the meetings of the “core group” of organizers to be cached by Google. PDFs of the minutes for a number of meetings can be found on Scribd here and here. Cached pages from Google are here and here.

The disclosure notice at the bottom of the website www.latinoswithtrump.org claims no “authorization by, affiliation with, direction from, or endorsement from” any candidate:

Use of any name or likeness of any candidate or officeholder is for the purpose of #LatinosWithTrump political communication only, and in NO WAY indicates any authorization by, affiliation with, direction from, or endorsement from that person in any kind. Any contributions from foreign nationals or entities is prohibited.

The minutes tell a completely different story. From July 13th:

2. Natalie Davis is working on the wording of a script for our group, that will show our allegiance with the campaign, (Still waiting approval from Tim Clark).

From August 9th:

– Natalie David has been mobilized from CA and it’s now in charge of OH.

– Tim is planning an event for Latinos for trump, the target date it’s September 20th followed by a charity event on September 21th, the plan is to be televised and show the Latino support in national media, we would need at least 1000 people to make this happen, and in order to Donald Trump to actually attend.

– Tim requested a few Spanish speakers that will be trained to appear in Univision and Telemundo to be advocates for the Latinos message, the volunteers were: Irma, Regina, Maddie and Myself.

– Tim is working to find a wording we all can use to pass our message and that will be approved by the campaign.

From August 10th:

– Still waiting on word from Natalie Davis about the wording that we can use for all of our marketing.

Tim Clark is the California Director for the Trump campaign. Natalie Davis is currently the “Ohio Sportsmen and 2nd Amendment Outreach Coordinator” for the Donald Trump campaign.

Interestingly, up through the last minutes post on August 25th, Marco Gutierrez, of “taco truck on every corner” fame and founder of Latinos For Trump, was the co-chair of the group along with Jorge Herrera.

– Tim emailed Marco the guidelines to be a local representative, also Marco advise us to get involved locally in with the trump campaign. He also set up a documentary with tbs, and they will be following us during #OperationTacoBowl

I assume plans may have changed on September 1st when he made his infamous remark since he’s not mentioned in the group’s September 8th press release which was published by one of their media contacts, Amy Morena, of the “truther” tabloid “news” site Truthfeed.

Gutierrez maintains his own “official” Latinos For Trump website.

The minutes from their meetings reveal a number of interesting connections and once familiar with the individuals involved, it becomes quite obvious that much of the minority support for Trump as covered by the media is actually the same individuals from an embarassingly small group.

Most of the “core group” of Latinos With Trump who appear over and over and over and over again.

You won’t find a single article, video, etc about Trump’s support from the right-wing alt media that doesn’t include a quote, picture or video of one or more of these people and in many cases, their affiliation to the campaign isn’t mentioned. Worse yet, they make similar appearances in mainstream sources: Reuters, AP, Boston Globe, Guardian, Buzzfeed, etc.

“They’re so sweet in real life! Honor to meet patriots!”

Need another group? Swap out the signs and then you’ve got Immigrants 4 Trump. Need to show some support from the black community? Black Americans For Trump shares some of the same members (via Trump Street Team FL).

Speaking of Trump’s support among African Americans and desperate photo ops, I came across images from September where members of the group rallied with the insane anti-semite and former Yahweh Ben Yahweh cult member Michael The Black Man and his cadre of crazed conservative props.

Not suprisingly, I wasn’t the first to notice this either. There’s an interesting post at Rightscoop that shows the same groups together in August and reveals one of their many connections to the Trump Twitter troll army.

Now back to the minutes from the #LatinosWithTrump meetings. From the August 25th minutes (my bold):

– Kambree got in touch with right side broadcasting, she is a native of Dallas now living in the OC area, specialized in leadership and strategy. She is well connected with Wayne Dupree, Scott Baio, Dan Scavino etc. she wants to outsmart media that day by having visual aids about the dnc leaks, she invited breitbart, baked Alaska and other media outlets.

– Ames at truth freed has done various articles and would do a press release on Saturday about the location.

[...]

– I got in touch with bikers for trump and they are working on it so I passed the info to kambree since she is the one organizing most of the stuff with cernovich.

Cernovich and Irma from Latinos With Trump

Kambree is Kambree Nelson, the co-host of The Wayne Dupree Show. She is a member of the Latinos With Trump board of advisors. She’s also an associate of none other than the King of alt right Twitter trolls and GamerGate principal, Mike Cernovich, as well as another well known Twitter troll and cohort of Milo Yiannopoulos, Baked Alaska (creator of #MAGA3X).

If you read my earlier post, you may recall that the Wayne Dupree Show was one of the sponsors of the Citizens for Trump and Roger Stone hosted America First "Unity Rally" held in Cleveland during the week of the Republican National Convention.

Citizens for Trump is a project of Patriotic Warriors, a for-profit organization which can best be thought of as the wetdream of Tom Berenger’s character in the 80’s movie Betrayed — a man who saw himself as a Patriotic Warrior fighting against the “Zionist Occupational Government” aka “ZOG.”

In case you don’t get the reference, from their about page:

Patriotic Warriors is an activist organization built to engage our community through information, training, outreach programs and other resources. We provide our members with cutting edge technology, activist strategies, and opportunities through our multiple take-action platforms.

Founded by Tim Selaty Sr (also founder of The Tea Party Tribune and a Facebook clone for the far-right called The Tea Party Community) and Patriot Movement figure, Melvin Lee, Patriotic Warriors is a for-profit organization intent on lousing up the Internet with as many wingnut (think 3%ers, Oath Keepers, etc) websites as they can manage. The Citizens for Trump "Why donate?" page lists some interesting things for which the non-tax deductible donations will be spent but right up at the very top:

I’m assuming this a polite way of saying troll army. The CFT about page lists some notable staffers, including an associate of the above with the title “Security & Special Projects Director”:

Irma from Latinos for Trump, Baked Alaska and Posobiec

Jan Morgan is also the national spokesperson (how PC of them!) for Patriotic Warriors. She apparently appears regularly on Fox Business and made something of a stir in 2014 when she declared her Hot Springs, Arkansas shooting range a “Muslim-free zone” and then early last year when she mistook two Hindu men for Muslims and denied them service.

Oh, did I forget to mention that? Patriotic Warriors have a real hard-on for Muslims and when they’re not sponsoring vigilante border patrols, they spend a lot of time telling the world just how much they hate Muslims.

Jack Posobiec’s duties seem to include things like generating propaganda for dissemination by the likes of The Gateway Pundit — including such memorable pieces as “Hillary To Hold Illegal Fundraisers In China.”

When he’s not paling around with Roger Stone and doing appearances on Infowars, he somehow finds the time to rally a Trump supporters to be part of a voter suppression army:

Jack Posobiec, a navy veteran and special projects director at Citizens for Trump, a grassroots support group, says he hopes to mobilise 3,000 volunteers in several key swing states in the final days of the campaign, including busing supporters from Texas to Ohio.

Good times. Good times. Another general in the troll army to which the above are connected is Jared Wyand, one of Twitter’s most prolific disinformers and founder of the website Project Purge for which Irma Hinojosa of Latinos With Trump, etc is a writer. A veteran of much trolling, in June, he participated in the harassment of a Texas valedictorian along with this troll who was one of the latest of the Alex Jones/Roger Stone-sponsored “Bill Clinton is a rapist!” agitators. Jim Hoft described her not-being-manhandled as she was removed from the Tim Kaine speech as her being “attacked and ejected.” Jim Hoft (The Gateway Pundit) is of course quite a drama queen in addition to being a hack bottom feeding clickbait propagandist.

Nearing the end now, I want to circle back around and tie in to my last post. During the San Diego Trump rally/protest, along with the Infowars-affiliated agitators, right in the thick of things was Nestor. See 13:44 in the video below. He’ll be the one with the “Gays For Trump” sign.

He’s appeared on/in Fox News, local LA affiliate Fox 11, LA Times, Wester Journalism, Breitbart, The College Fix, BizPac Review and numerous others. If you look closely in the below image of a Huntington Beach Trump flash mob, you’ll see Nestor Moto Jr next to Kambree Nelson and in front of Jorge Herrera. Over to the right is Jack and if I’m not mistaken, Irma.

Small world right? Remember Rachel Casey? She was the Trump supporter who was purportedly egged by anti-Trump protesters outside of a San Jose Trump rally in June. A favorite of celebrity victim of the Trump set, she was again trotted out by Breitbart just a few days ago now claiming that she must have been attacked by a team of Clinton-paid protesters because… James O’Keefe.

What Casey — who apparently lived in California just long enough to get hit with eggs before returning to her native Florida — has forgotten again is that she was actually the one doing the inciting, as her own cellphone video shows:

A witness to the events, Matthew Gonzales, wrote an informative account for the Silcon Valley De-Bug:

It was after that, you see the lady get egged in the face. What you did not see was that same lady flipping off and agitating the crowd by yelling "Go back to Mexico!" You did not see that on the "Breaking News" did you?

That was June 3rd and by the 22nd of July, she was back in Florida, hanging out with Arisley Travieso of Latinos With Trump and making America great again one overpass at a time.

A week later she was getting getting arrested for “DISORDERLY CONDUCT – BRAWLING FIGHTING CORRUPT PUBLIC MORAL DECENCY.”

Ary’s been fighting the Infowars fight for a long time.

Hell he was yelling, “Hey Barack, is your wife a member of the CFR” in Miami way back in 2007.

Thankfully he got his citizenship in August, just in time to vote.

Why Aren't People Talking About Infowars Agitators?

Much as they did with another unhinged clown who broadcasts moronic “theories” to the gullible masses, it seems that by and large, the mainstream media finds Alex Jones simply too ridiculous to take seriously.

As it was with Trump, this is a mistake.

It’s no coincidence that as time goes on, Trump sounds more and more like Jones — he’s playing to a hardcore base heavily influenced by Jones and others from the Truth Movement who have gained large followings through their websites and YouTube channels.

It’s also no coincidence that longtime Trump bestie, fellow Roy Cohn acolyte, infamous Nixonite and Manafort partner, Roger Stone, has been working hand in glove with Jones and in turn, a coalition of the players from the remnants of the Tea Party and the Patriot Movement.

A prime example of this coming together of elements from the fringe and the Trump campaign was the America First United Rally held in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention.

Hosted by the Citizens for Trump and Roger Stone, the event featured such notable wingnut personalities as Alex Jones, Jan Morgan and Wayne Dupree and was sponsored by Infowars and an assortment of interrelated “for Trump” groups.

One of the most noticeable of the Jones/Stone activities in recent weeks has been the Bill Clinton is a rapist! “protesters” who have been infiltrating Clinton events, launching themselves in front of cameras and yelling “Bill Clinton is a rapist!”

As it turns out, these of course aren’t spontaneous protests but rather paid agitators seeking a “bounty” from Infowars for their “activism.”

As detailed on the Infowars site:

Originally spun off Roger Stone’s Bill Clinton “RAPE” t-shirt design, anyone can earn a bounty of up to $5k for calling out the former president on his multiple rape accusations.

The campaign, launched on Alex Jones’ September 30 weekday radio broadcast, has tasked willing participants with appearing on national television for five seconds donning apparel branding former President Bill Clinton a rapist, preferably the shirt sold at the Infowars Store, for a payout of $1000.

Additionally, we called on patriots to vocalize the message, “Bill Clinton is a rapist,” while wearing Infowars’ Bill Clinton Rape shirt for a maximum payout of up to $5,000 per appearance – until $100,000 has been expended.

It’s not all agitation-by-proxy with Jones though. While in Cleveland for the Citizens for Trump event, Jones managed to get in some direct agitation of his own by way of a publicity stunt at the Cleveland Public Square on Tuesday, June 19, 2016.

Arriving with a large group from Infowars as well as uniformed police officers, Jones marches into the middle of a RevCom rally with a bullhorn, a camera crew, “security” thugs and a team of shills.

As can be seen at 8:58 in the next video, Alex Jones is trying to mount the steps, pushing his way into a protester who uses his forearm to nudge Jones out of his personal space. At this point, Jones dramatically throws himself into the man and immediately tries to sell his performance to the nearest police officer —“he attacked me officer!”

I want to point out two people in the above video. At 5:55, you’ll see that Jones brought along Kenneth Lane — wearing a black Infowars “1776” hat. He’s a favorite of Infowars and the myriad of Drudge-dredged news blogs like the The Gateway Pundit. Then at 8:14, take note of the man in black shirt and sunglasses who can be seen arriving with Jones in the first video (walking on the right with the “Hitlary” t-shirt). This is Jordan Salik who sells anti-Hillary Clinton t-shirts at the website politicallyerect.com. We’ll get to him in just a moment.

In this next video, you’ll see what purports to be simply a group of Trump supporters outside a Long Beach, CA Hillary Clinton rally in early June.

Of course this is all staged. Infowars personality Joe Biggs knows at least four of the people in this video. First there’s Salik wearing one of his would be “shocking” t-shirts. Biggs had known him for at least months prior to the staged video and he’s now playing the part of “pollster” on Alex Jones’s show (5:41:41 @ video here).

Then there’s Laura, who was interviewed separately and has been a Facebook friend of Biggs since 2015. The three teens in the back were pulled out of line by two of the other men, “Skywalker” and “Johnny” (black Infowars distressed flag tee, blue Infowars “Hillary for Prison” tee) from Last Revolution Media, who along with their friends from Cool Hand Vets, had accompanied the Infowars crew to a number of local rallies (April in Costa Mesa, May in Anaheim, June in Huntington Beach) and have been announcing their affiliation at least as far back as July of 2015. Along with another Infowars cohort, photographer Adam (YouTube channel Shuttershot45), the group mostly goes around filming Infowars associates, spewing Alex Jone’s wingnuttery, shoving microphones and cameras into people’s faces and attempting to film Trump protesters being “triggered” (a word that we’ll all fucking forget soon I hope) — in other words agitating — as can be seen in the below video from the San Diego Trump rally/protest, starting at about 5:40.

It’s no coincidence that in the coverage of the San Diego rally/protest clashes, these “Infowarriors” kept showing up in news photos.

Reading a prepared speech from his two new best friends — those teleprompters — Donald Trump has ratcheted up his rhetoric to what many will see as dangerous levels. He’s openly declared war on “the establishment,” media, the “Clinton Machine” and the women accusing him of the very sexual assaults he was caught bragging about on a hot mic in 2005.

Most disturbing to me was the messianic messaging and the speech’s dark, apocalyptic, final battle of “good vs evil” theme.

The first of these not-too-subtle allusions came in the midst of his ranting over his perceived persecution.

They knew they would throw every lie they could at me and my family and my loved ones. They knew they would stop at nothing to try to stop me. But I never knew — as bad as it would be — I never knew it would be this vile. That it would be this bad. That it would be this vicious.

Nevertheless...

I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you. I take them for our movement so that we can have our country back

Holy Orange Trump on a cross! He’s suffering for you dear flock. Believe him. (Believe in him?) Not much later, he continued the religious theme, talking about his own descent into Hell and ultimately how he is the conduit to Heaven:

We’ve got suffering. We got what seems to be some parts borrowed from the Apostles’ Creed. But what is a messianic narrative without death and resurrection?

Now I'm being punished for leaving the special club and revealing to you the terrible things that are going on having to do with our country. Trump stitched it all up (or should I say Steve Bannon?) with this bit about being the only conduit to this “great” (heavenly) America that he promises.

Only he, Donald J. Trump, can “fix it,” and so it is he who is the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Donald Trump.

WikiLeaks Released John Podesta's Apple ID and Password, Enabling Twitter and iCloud Hack

Nick Merrill confirmed that John Podesta's Twitter account was "hacked" yesterday.

John Podesta’s Twitter account was “hacked” yesterday (10/12). I put the word hacked in scare quotes because unless the following is elaborate disinformation, it would seem that the attacker was a 4chan poster who gained access to John Podesta’s iPad, iCloud storage, etc using his Apple ID and password which were in the body of one of the WikiLeaks released hacked emails.

The tweet contains an obvious 4chan connection — the shout out, “Hi pol.”

“Pol” refers to /pol/ (4chan’s “politically incorrect” board). The 4chan thread has since been deleted but it is archived here. Below is a screen shot from the thread which shows one poster talking about the source of the credentials used to access Podesta’s Apple account and ultimately, his Twitter account.

CNN reports that the intrusion was confirmed by Hillary traveling press secretary Nick Merrill.

Just a quick note on basic security. If you don’t want froathy-mouthed alt-right clowns pouring over your private emails on WikiLeaks courtesy of Putin and friends and smearing your friends as “anti-Catholic,” then do not email passwords and if you receive a password in an email, delete it immedately.

What is perhaps most shocking about this to me is that assuming that the 4chan thread isn’t elaborate disinformation, despite being hacked, John Podesta didn’t change every single password to every single account he had.

Is he not being advised by somebody from the FBI or CrowdStrike?

I was able to locate the email — which I will not link here — in the Podesta Emails archive. The below image shows the relevant part of the email at WikiLeaks with the password obscured by me.

It seems reasonable to assume that whoever was responsible for the Podesta email hack also saw this email and also gained all the same access as the 4chan poster did.

Making matters worse for Podesta and the Hillary Campaign, there are possibly documents, contacts, etc that have fallen into the hand of yet another individual or group.

Is there any end to this in sight?

Toward the end of 4chan thread, a poster claiming to be the intruder remote wipes the device.

Somebody please get Mr. Podesta’s electronic affairs in order. There’s an election in under a month and some of us are really hoping that Donald Trump doesn’t win it.
