He will very likely lose the election and possibly not even get the nomination in Cleveland. We’ll likely see protests and demonstrations. If he survives the convention, the debates and the actual election process will be a massive news cycle that doesn’t end until election night. So what happens the day after... His brand, for the 13 million who vote for him and the few million abroad that like him, will be as elevated as it’s ever been. He’ll slap his name on any product he can and sell tons of those products to these 13 plus million.
He’ll also probably get a fat contract to be on Fox News. They’ll offer him a show and he’ll take it. “Sunday evenings with Donald.” He’ll just rant like Mike Huckabee or Sara Palin. But he’ll get ratings higher than The Apprentice and he’ll make money.
That was his end game all along. Self-promotion. Self Aggrandizement. Not to be taken seriously.
Funny thing is that he has been taken seriously and he did find 13 million voters even after the GOP threw every piece of spaghetti against the wall to see what would stick. But nothing stuck except this meatball.
The whole thing is a massive cluster full of mistakes made by the media for actually giving him a daily microphone over the last year and for the political establishment on the Right for not finding a way to get him out of the limelight. Yeay ! Go Clinton!
But he’s already won. After all, he just needs more brand loyalty to make more millions and he’s got it. That’s what’s sad. He could, and probably will, lose in a landslide, but the middle aged white voter that loves his brand will love it even more… no matter what happens.
