Quick note to share that I just read that the code name the Secret Service assigned to Bernie Sanders has apparently been leaked.
Intrepid!
adjective
According to (Bill) Press, the name “Intrepid” was chosen for the self-described democratic socialist because of his resolute stand against Wall Street banks. www.yahoo.com/...

There’s a big convoy heading to Malheur.
According to Chase Stevens of the Las Vegas Review-Journal over 30 law enforcement vehicles drove by recently.

Quick diary, wanted to get this out there. Not sure if anything can stem the tide of hate at this point.
Was glad to see Lynch’s words yesterday though:
Attorney General Loretta Lynch pledged to a group of Muslim activists that she would take aggressive action against anyone who used "anti-Muslim rhetoric" that "edges toward violence."

The hearings on Planned Parenthood's funding did not start well.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) suggested on Monday that both of his parents might be alive if the government had used Planned Parenthood funding for cancer research. At a hearing inspired by anti-Planned Parenthood videos, Chaffetz opened by choking up as he explained that both of his parents had died from cancer.
At a hearing inspired by anti-Planned Parenthood videos, Chaffetz opened by choking up as he explained that both of his parents had died from cancer.
Near the end of their testy back-and-forth, Chaffetz showed a slide that he said was from Planned Parenthood's annual report, showing a dramatic increase in abortions and a reduction in breast exams by the organization. Richards said she'd never seen the slide, which a colleague whispered to her was actually created by Americans United for Life, a fact Richards shared with the committee. "I would check your source," Richards told Chaffetz.
"I would check your source," Richards told Chaffetz.
"It is clear that they acted fraudulently and unethically -- and perhaps illegally," Richards said in remarks prepared for her appearance Tuesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. "Yet it is Planned Parenthood, not Mr. Daleiden, that is currently subject to four separate congressional investigations."

Just read that Sen. Richard Blumenthal has just announced that he supports the nuclear agreement deal with Iran.
"I will vote to support the proposed agreement concerning Iran's nuclear program and against the resolution of disapproval before the Senate. My two paramount goals have been to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran and do so by peaceful means. I believe the proposed agreement, using diplomacy, not military force, is the best path now available to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran," he said.
I guess that means that Larry Kudlow will now be challenging him.
“Maybe I’m speaking out of school Peter but … if Senator Richard Blumenthal votes with Obama on Iran, I’m going to run against him. I’m going to run against him for the Senate,” Kudlow said, according to Roll Call. “The national Senate campaign committee has come to me and talked to me about it. They polled. I’m not a political guy, I’m an economist. I’m a broadcaster by profession, but I am so angry at this issue, among others."
And let's put some pressure on the remaining Democratic holdouts!
