I live in California in a liberal area. We are affected by what happens elsewhere but since we are solid liberal area, we do not play the role that other areas of the country do.
A few years from now, when I look back at what had happened over the past few years, I’m going to think that Tuesday night was the night when I realized that things were going to be ok.
Virginia, New Jersey, Maine and Washington. You've shown us what we need to do.
Thank you to everyone who voted. Until I sat down to write this, I didn't realize how much that simple act really means.
Thank you for everyone who donated to the candidate of their choice. It might have been a small sacrifice or a large one, but I think that it was worth every penny.
Thank you to everyone who dreamed to run and ran. You are an inspiration to me. Please ask when you need something. I have your back.
The exit poll data I looked at tells me something I knew but didn't completely appreciate. https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/local/virginia-politics/governor-exit-polls/?utm_term=.677b43da042a
THIS is a woman's revolution. Our nation is being saved by you. The revolution was started with the Woman's Marches and the first battle was won on Tuesday. The candidates, the voters, the voices who refuse to be silenced are true heros. I will not let you down.
Thank you.
