Barack Obama stole a campaign theme from a 2006 REPUBLICAN in Illinois (before McCain stole it from him). Watch this 2006 campaign video to see the origin of Obama's 2008 message, which does not at all not resemble his 2004 campaign for U.S. Senate in Illinois.

Be aware that there is no legal resourse against lifting someone else's ideas or language in what is the most public of endeavors, a campaign for public office.

However, there is definitely political recourse.
