The NY Times just posted an Associated Press story that indicates the depth of ... DEPRAVITY ... of the GOP. See GOP to Cut Food Stamps in Deficit-Reduction Drive link: http://www.nytimes.com/...
these guys are not even subtle about wanting to balance the budget on the backs of the poor. First of all, there isn't enough spending there to balance the budget anyway. Second, the Mittster is on record as not wanting to balance the budget on the backs of the poor.
Here is what the Mittster said in 2003, as Governor of Massachusetts:
"If we are forced to balance this budget on the backs of our seniors and the poor, we will expose the core services of government to disproportionate cuts," said Romney. "That is not fair. The best solution is to spread the burden." ** Governor Mitt Romney, 01-10-2003 Press Release

It is going to be fun watching R-MONEY walking into himself when he comes around a corner.
Hopefully, the corner will be outside the White House gates, not inside. Maybe the corner should be on the beach in La Jolla, CA.
