How to Respond to Flip-Flopping McCain Supporters with links

I had first posted this diary last week. Since then I have noticed a number of diaries listing McCain's flip-flops, without links. This diary started out as a response to all the notes I was getting from a republican customer. I used it to have a spirited conversation with the same crazy republican. It didn't work, he even thinks drilling offshore is a necessity. I came back with logic and he rattled off republican drivel! Since it took all day to research my links and make sure they worked, I was hoping it could be used in arguements or just to forward in email to all those pesky republicans you might know! Please forgive me for re-posting, but it was a lot of work, just to languish in dead diary land. Below is my original, I hope all links are still working. Enjoy!

I had published a diary yesterday of a letter I had written to my Republican customer. I caught a lot of heat for not checking my links, and rightly so. But in my defense, I was lazy, I knew he didn't use a computer, and I just wanted to show him McCain's huge list of flip flops. I never thought of all of those on this site that would like to follow those links.
I should have kept it to just a list, but instead I copied the links also. I have since decided to send the same letter, by email, to my republican neighbor. He constantly sends all negative Obama crap to us, we're talking 2 to 3 emails a day! He just believes every nasty thing he is sent. So I checked every link, and in many cases, added information or links, so he could get the full view of the man he is touting for president. Below is the letter and my updated links, they are a treasure trove of information on the saintly John McCain!

One of our customers found out that we were loud and proud democrats, and he sends me notes every month, telling me to vote for McCain. I finally couldn't take it anymore and wrote him a letter. Following is the letter and the McCain flip flops! I HAVE UPDATED AND MADE SURE EVERY LINK WORKS.

Has anyone heard of sodahead.com. I wound up on it the other day and was amazed at the untruths and sheer racism. Yet even on a decidedly right slanted website, Obama is still winning their vote. Come on my Daily Kos friends, pop over to http://www.sodahead.com/... and give them a run for their money. I was in a heated arguement with a woman, who say's she was black, who worked on Obama's campaign. Yet she at one point brought up Rev. Wright, but in her next arguement she called him a muslim! She went on to defame him, saying that if we heard what she did, we would run screaming. She also inferred that she was now afraid for her life. Well, that was just too much to swallow, I really doubt she was a woman, and I seriously doubt she was black. But swing on over, the right wing crazies are fun to play with, like shooting fish in a barrel or friends with Cheney.

I have noticed there is no outrage against Wal-Mart here at Kos. Where are the diaries calling for boycott, where are the emails? Are we so preoccupied with our own candidates that we could let this slip by? I have already emailed Wal-Mart, but thousands of emails might make a difference. I also asked Mike Moore to help. I am so sick of all of us! Republicans win because they fall on their swords! They vote for McCain because they have to, not because they like him. They follow their party. We on the other hand can't see that we have had fabulous candidates this year, and all of them are better than McCain! So for god's sake, fall on your sword and vote democrat, or we really are done for good.

Why is Hillary such a horrible choice! How is she suddenly lumped in with the Bushes as establishment and anti-progressive? My God have you forgotten the Clinton years, I'd like to rewind right now. I had money, the world was pretty calm, gas was pretty cheap, family leave was instituted (thank god - I've had to use it) and most important - no deficit... give me one good reason we shouldn't want that back. This new mantra of change is pretty much ridiculous, and it is really only to soothe the masses. Hillary is constantly being criticised for being establishment, but maybe she is the only one who knows you have to play the game. You cannot walk into the White House and throw out all corporates who have been entrenched in our government for lifetimes, she knows that is an unattainable goal and she is honest enough to tell us so.
