Did Bush-Cheney-Rove know about plans for and encouragement of extensive electoral fraud across the country? Does it matter?
It really puts torque on my mind - hurts my head and my heart - that so many Christian Republicans just really don't care whether Bush knew, or knows. It seems that for some of them W is God's anointed, and it doesn't matter what he knows or what he does.
I'm not buying that. Jesus said, "By their fruits you will know them." Jesus also said, about men who were very religious in public "for show" - but were taking from the poor and helpless even what little property they still had - "Such men will be punished most severely." Surely our right to vote is a sort of `property', one of our most precious possessions.
