Once upon a time, there was a beautiful little town called Sarasota that was close to the most perfect, powder-white sand beaches in the world.
Rich people flocked to Sarasota and, of course, started buying up all the great beachfront property on places like Longboat, Siesta and Lido Key. Oops--I almost forgot to add Casey Key, which is really rich folk's land.
Incredibly expensive houses and condos were built and snapped up. Oddly, very few people actually lived in these places, except maybe a month or two a year.
