The Supreme Court has finished hearing arguments in the case, WSRP et al. v. King County, et al., and has adjourned to consider the case and reach a decision.
The Democrats, King County, and the Secretary of State had a very consistent argument about the interpretation of RCW: that these ballots should be counted because elections officials made a mistake: it is not the voters' fault, as voters did everything they were supposed to. Republicans tried to argue that King County had already rejected the 735 ballots, and "were outside the universe of ballots", but King County contended those ballots never had been rejected.
