Today, during the Republican debate, The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC sent out an email notice that they have released a new ad for South Carolina, where Stephen Colbert is not running. He's not on the ballot, after all, but according to the ad, there is one name on the ballot voters can trust (Spoiler Alert: that name is revealed below the orange croissant):
And that name is: Herman Cain.
The ad, entitled "Not Abel", features Stephen Colbert's ruggedly handsome face, with the voiceover urging primary voters to vote for Herman Cain in South Carolina, as he's so much a Washington outsider, he's not even running for president.
With Huntsman dropping out of the race, Colbert's Super Pac (formerly known as Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow) is well poised to be the savior that Republican voters never even knew they wanted.
Edit: Hee, obligatory first-time-on-the-reclist thanks.
