Trump’s attempts to publicly humiliate Attorney General Jeff Sessions continue at full throttle. And the notorious alt-right website Breitbart has taken sides in the Trump-Sessions saga: #TeamSessions. Their current lead story is titled “Trump’s attacks on Sessions over Clinton Prosecution highlights his own ‘weak’ stance.” And people are taking note:
The reasoning isn’t exactly noble—they’re white nationalists after all. But that’s exactly why they’re turning against the man they helped get elected through the spread of lies and misinformation throughout the election season: Trump threatens the white nationalist agenda they sought to expand under his leadership. Between this and the reported estrangement between him and Breitbart.com founder and current White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, does this mean alt-right support for Trump is weakening?
