The young man featured in this photo, his face contorted into stark ugliness by rage and hatred is barely out of his teens—he is twenty years old. His name is Peter Cvjetanovic, and by his own account, his choice to take part in a Unite the Right march for white supremacy has brought him some unwanted attention. And now he wants to explain his actions. Per the Washington Journal:
I came to this march for the message that white European culture has a right to be here just like every other culture. But is not perfect; there are flaws to it, of course. However, I do believe that the replacement of the statue will be the slow replacement of white heritage within the United States and the people who fought and defended and built their homeland. Robert E Lee is a great example of that. He wasn’t a perfect man, but I want to honor and respect what he stood for during his time.
As a white nationalist, I care for all people. We all deserve a future for our children and for our culture. White nationalists aren’t all hateful; we just want to preserve what we have.”
He sounds like a kid who is beginning to realize that he made a very big mistake. I am tempted to feel bad for him, but I don’t. Of course we all make stupid mistakes when we are younger. However, there are some mistakes that are too egregious to be classified as youthful indiscretion. Peter my boy, you have aligned yourself with a terrorist organization that is responsible for the death of an innocent American. You are no different from the Islamic Jihadists that are killing innocent people in France, England, and Germany. You deserve all of the negative press that you are getting.

There is also word of a White Nationalist protester losing his job after a photo of him attending the United the Right march went viral. His name is Cole White, also twenty years old, and he used to work at Top Dog Restaurant in Berkeley, California. Per the Daily Mail:
A white nationalist has been fired from his job as Twitter begins naming and shaming alt-right supporters involved in yesterday's deadly Charlottesville rally.
Cole White was identified as one of the alt-right protesters at the violent Unite the Right march on Twitter by user Yes, You're Racist. After his employers at Top Dog restaurant, in Berkeley, were alerted that White attended the rally, he was fired.
It looks like aligning yourself with hate groups is not the best move. Perhaps these young people will come to understand that they risk ruination in 2017 if they align themselves with hate. Until then, keep on posting and sharing their pictures until they get the message.
