Jason Kessler, one of the organizers of Saturday’s “Unite the Right” hate rally, attempted to hold a press conference in Charlottesville and counter protesters were not having it, not a single minute of it. As soon as Kessler stepped to the microphones to deliver his message, several protesters began screaming directly in his face and at least one angry counter protester took a swing at Kessler and as the angry group moved closer, Kessler began running, eventually needing a police escort to escape.
In another video (seen below) taken moments later and down the street from the press conference, Kessler, still on the run from the mob, says he denounces political violence. This statement is obviously horseshit because Kessler and his white supremacists buddies showed up dressed for combat. They welcomed this violence, they’ve been yearning for it, talking about it online and training for it.
Take a good look at the face this white supremacist who attended Kessler’s riot rally:
You’ll notice the same man, same helmet, using metal poles to viciously beat counter protester Deandre Harris in a parking garage:
From The Root:
“Me and about five of my friends were out protesting. We thought [the racists] left, but at one point they came back. Everyone was exchanging words with the group, but then the KKK and white supremacists just rushed us,” Harris told The Root in an interview.
“They were beating me with poles. I have eight staples in my head, a broken wrist and a chipped tooth,” Harris said.
And do these friends of Kessler look like they are there for a peaceful protest? Or do they look like they came for violence?
Here is the additional video of Kessler on the run and his denouncement of political violence.
