A very good poll from the “Washington Post” on battleground districts has some really positive news within the article.
What killed us in 2010, 2014, and 2016 to some extent is that white Baby Boomers and older came out very heavy for the GOP and Trump. The problem in the midterms is that they are the most active voters.
But look here:
"Washington Post" article
“Republicans draw roughly even support with other higher-turnout groups, among them seniors, who currently split 48 percent for Republicans versus 49 percent for Democrats.”
If there is a split with senior citizens, this is huge! This poll was taken over 69 districts and 63 are Republican. If the GOP is not cleaning up on the FOX News demo, they are in real trouble. This will be a big reversal from 2010 when we got killed by this demo.
Democrats need to keep hitting that the corporate tax cuts will come at the expense of Medicare and Social Security.
