New Emerson Poll shows small; but interesting movement in today's release of National Poll of the Democratic Primary
You'll see the latest one above and last month's below
Interesting write up
Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson Polling, said “while still early in the nominating process, it looks like Mayor Pete is the candidate capturing voters’ imagination; the numbers had him at 0% in mid-February, 3% in March and now at 9% in April.”
Kimball also noted that “Biden has seen his support drop. In February, he led Sanders 27% to 17%, and in March the two were tied at 26%. Now, Sanders has a 5 point lead, 29% to 24%.”
now…. Biden is finally getting hit by all the allegations and bad press from the last weeks. Mayor Pete is obviously collecting from his amazing month, and this before THE speach yesterday announcing his candidacy. Senator Harris and Beto are dropping and seem to be missing the twitter/fb/news wars.
Interesting what happens to those Biden votes if he were to not enter.
If Joe Biden decides not to run, Bernie Sanders looks to be the early beneficiary, picking up 31% of Bidens’ voters. Mayor Pete Buttigieg gets 17% of the Biden vote, followed by Beto O’Rourke at 13%.
I do believe we have a “fearful” democratic primary electorate, why is there no woman as second option to Biden… being that he is more moderate I would expect that Klobouchar would grab some if it was “experience” they were supporting Biden first…
my top 3 have not made the top 2 in national polling but they hover around 3,4, and 5th place. I'm also glad Julián is bumping up
