Burn in hell, Planned Parenthood!
What’s the ruckus all about?
We’re here to support our great governor, a true believer like me, who has promised to sign into law a bill that will finally stop the murder of babies in the womb. Praise Jesus!
I take it you mean the bill will outlaw abortion?
Yes, that’s right. We’ve been protesting and praying for decades and finally our most fervent hope is coming true.
So why does abortion matter so much to you?
Because I’m pro-life, of course. As a good Christian, I know that every life is sacred and the Commandments tell us “Thou shalt not kill.”
But your governor, whose faith you admire so much, has signed death warrants for a number of condemned criminals.
That’s different. They chose a life of sin and crimes. The wages of sin are death, you know.
I see. So not every life actually is sacred, just some lives.
These are unborn children, innocent of sin. We must protect their precious lives.
So at what age do children lose their innocence and become responsible for their actions and thus for the state of their immortal souls?
Oh, you’re talking about what we call the “age of accountability.” People have various ideas about that but most of us think it’s somewhere between 6 and 12 years of age.
Wait, you all have different opinions? The Bible is your guiding reference. What does it say?
Well, there’s nothing specific in it. But it stands to reason, doesn’t it? God is merciful and loving so he wouldn’t hold young children and infants responsible for all eternity if they die before they’re old enough to truly understand his command to us to beg forgiveness for being sinners.
Really? That’s strange because God held babies responsible for the sins of their parents’ and their society. He not only didn’t mind that infants were slaughtered, he ordered it to happen.
Now go and attack the Amalekites and completely destroy everything they have. Do not spare them. Kill men and women, infants and nursing babies, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys. (1 Samuel 15:3)
In His mercy, I’m sure the Lord had a good reason for that and lifted those babies up into heaven.
So, if children die when they’re young enough, then it’s a sure ticket to eternal salvation?
That’s right. God is merciful and Jesus will embrace them as they pass through the Pearly Gates.
And that’s what’s truly important, right? God saving their souls?
Well, yes. It’s not this earthly life that matters, it’s our future eternal lives that are important.
So maybe, instead of feeding and clothing and caring for infants, loving parents should neglect them and let them die. That would guarantee their entry to heaven whereas allowing them to grow up and sin and fail to seek Jesus’ forgiveness would condemn them to eternal torment.
I … um … say what?
I mean clearly it’s wrong to murder them. But letting them die naturally should be okay. Neglect, encouraging them to play on the freeway, abandoning them in the desert, all of that would work to send them straight to the loving arms of Jesus! It would be horribly wrong for a parent to take the chance that their child might go to hell forever.
Wut??? No, no, that can’t be right.
And it’s never too early to arrange for a soul to get a Golden Ticket to paradise. After all, even unborn souls might be aware enough for God to judge them and cast them into the Lake of Fire. Didn’t John the Baptist, as a fetus, leap for joy in Elizabeth’s womb when her cousin Mary — pregnant with Jesus — visited her? Clearly that unborn child knew the Lord and responded. What if he had been born and then died without asking for his soul to be saved through Jesus?
Yes, but …
So you can save millions of souls, ensuring that they will be with Jesus forever instead of tormented for eternity by Satan and his minions in Hell. Make it easy for their little unborn souls to be harvested in His name, instead of risking their eternal damnation if they’re born.
Ummm … yeah, you know, you’re right. I have been so blind. Praise Planned Parenthood! Make abortion a holy sacrament and save the unborn souls!
Right. Remember, every time an abortion happens, an angel gets its wings and another precious soul is saved for Jesus.
