Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a millionaire who lives a safe, secure life of comfort, wealth, and privilege, convinced a majority of Republican senators yesterday to continue to support Trump’s use of the U.S. military to back Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the bloody war between Yemen’s government and Houthi rebels.
In addition to thousands of civilian deaths and injuries caused by warring factions, millions of Yemeni men, women, and children are at risk of starving and have been displaced from their homes and have either sought asylum in other countries or are roaming the streets.
According to Save The Children, as many as 85,000 children were murdered or starved to death in Yemen between April 2015 and November 2018.
If a statistic like that isn’t enough to make anyone question what kind of person could even think about sustaining Trump’s willingness to cause so much human misery, you should know that within 24 hours after you read this, approximately 150 Yemeni boys and girls will have either been slaughtered or will have starved to death.
Is anyone okay with this?
If not, Americans should know that the following Republican senators voted to continue U.S. involvement in killing thousands of men, women, and children in one more foreign civil war:

If you don’t think your taxes should be used by Donald Trump to murder and starve thousands upon thousands of innocent men, women, and children, you should let your senator know how you feel.
Shouldn’t you?
