Resident Liar frequently touts his Administration as being the “most transparent in history.”
We do not have to look far, to see how big of a LIE this kind of campaigning pablum really is.
Take Trump’s Foreign Policy czar for example. Collecting $20 Million in likely ‘kickbacks’ — through Off-shore accounts — is NOT what most people would call “being transparent” … Rather, this is exactly what Trump-corruption looks like:

A real estate company [Cadre] part-owned by Jared Kushner has received $90m in foreign funding from an opaque offshore vehicle since he entered the White House as a senior adviser to his father-in-law Donald Trump.
[...] The money came through a vehicle run by Goldman Sachs in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven that guarantees corporate secrecy.
[...]
Kushner resigned from Cadre’s board and reduced his ownership stake to less than 25% after he joined the White House, according to his attorneys. He failed to list Cadre on his first ethics disclosure, later adding the company and saying the omission was inadvertent. Cadre says he is not actively involved in the company’s operations.
The names of the foreigners investing in Cadre via Goldman Sachs are not disclosed by the companies, which are not required to make the information public. Two sources familiar with the firm said much of the money came to the Cayman Islands vehicle from a second offshore tax haven, while some came from Saudi Arabia.
And what did Saudi Arabia get in return, for their ‘hush money’ down-low payments? Simply an Administration willing to ‘condone’ (and even enable) the most despicable of crimes, based on the most hollow of assures by their Crown Prince:
One person "who talks frequently to confidants of the Saudi and Emirati rulers" told the Intercept that MBS bragged to United Arab Emirates Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed that Kushner was "in his pocket."
[...]
Eager to consolidate power and rein in the sprawling orbit of the Saudi royal family and aristocratic class, Prince bin Salman listened intently and a week later cracked down on corruption in the country by imprisoning more than 200 members of the country's ruling class inside the confines of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in charging each with corruption.
"What we did in Saudi Arabia was
extremely necessary,"
the Saudi crown prince told CBS in his first interview with a Western outlet. "All actions taken were in accordance with existing and published laws."

US legislators have asked the FBI investigate presidential adviser Jared Kushner over reports that he disclosed classified information to the crown prince of Saudi Arabia.
The FBI must open an investigation into possible “unauthorised disclosures of information” by Donald Trump’s son-in-law, six Democratic representatives wrote in a letter to the bureau.
But would the Saudis be willing to kickback Millions $$$ for that — America’s Intelligence secrets? Well when you throw in these other American ‘sweeteners’ into the mix, you can bet their greasy-wheels accounting firm, they would:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry has approved six secret authorizations by companies to sell nuclear power technology and assistance to Saudi Arabia, according to a copy of a document seen by Reuters on Wednesday.
[...]
Many U.S. lawmakers are concerned that sharing nuclear technology with Saudi Arabia could eventually lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.
Tracking Trump's changing claims on jobs from Saudi arms deal
President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he expects answers about the killing of dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi -- but he also insists that he has no plan to tear up an arms sales deal his administration spearheaded last year because it would cost the United States jobs.
"I don't want to lose all of that investment being made into our country. I don't want to lose a million jobs, I don't want to lose $110 billion dollars in terms of investment," Trump told reporters outside the White House on Monday. "But it's really $450 billion if you include other than military. So that's very important."

What if the Clinton Administration or the Obama Administration had participated in some blatant Quid-pro-quo like this, using off-shore accounts? Do you think that the viewers ‘mushrooms colonies’ of Fox News would have heard about it by now?
Hell, a Dem-scandal like that would still be playing on an endless loop … right after exhortations of “What about her Emails? … and chants of “Lock her up!”
Because …
Republicans sure know how to turn a speed-bump into ‘their Mountain to die on’.
While Dems seem to only know how to turn their messaging Mountains, in nothing-burger molehills.

Question: When will Dems ever learn how to win the Messaging-war against the GOP?
Answer: At the rate we are going probably NOT soon enough. Probably not ever.
