After a weekend in South Carolina that saw Senator Kamala Harris make people sit up and take notice,
we’re finally arriving at the first of the Democratic Primary debates. Due to the large field of candidates this week two debates will be held on succeeding evenings. The first is this Wednesday, June 26th. Kamala will be debating fellow candidates the following evening, Thursday, June 27.
It’s going to be an exciting and busy few days leading up to the debates. No doubt the candidates will be busy with debate prep while folks get ready for their debate parties. And there are going to be a lot of them!
The debates could be make or break time for any number of candidates in such a crowded field. Or not. The one thing I’m certain of is that Senator Harris will have done her homework and will bring her formidable skills to the stage.
Yikes! All of a sudden I’m a bit nervous? Excited? Something. It’s early Monday morning and so far the caffeine is not working. So let’s try some music, shall we? After all,
Kamala released her musical play list for the summer. And I bet some of her favorite songs are being used for debate prep too.
Running for president is a grueling experience, physically and mentally, and even the most enthusiastic of candidates need ways to unwind on the campaign trail. One of the best ways to do that is with music, and on Friday, Sen. Kamala Harris shared her summer playlist for the campaign trail with Bustle, so fans can get an idea of what she'll be bumping to on the road.
“I’m a firm believer that we all need to find the time to dance, to sing and to bop our heads a little, so I’m sharing the songs I’m listening to in the car out on the campaign trail this summer," Harris said in an email to Bustle. "Whether we’re driving from Sacramento to Reno or Dubuque to Chicago - this playlist always lifts me up." You can stream her playlist on Spotify.

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
All should be made to feel welcomed here. What’s notwelcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
I’d like to ask all group members, as well as those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity from other campaign’s supporters with even more negativity. Let’s do better than our best and respond with respect, humor or try to hold our peace. Recipes and cat pics work, too 😃
Doing no harm costs us nothing... pie-fights will cost us everything.
