Colorado Republican Rep. Ken Buck got an answer he wasn't expecting when he asked former special counsel Robert Mueller whether Trump could be indicted. Buck was trying to damage Mueller for suggesting that Trump may have committed obstruction of justice but declining to make a decision on whether the president had actually committed obstruction.
Then he just did a really dumb thing. He asked, "Could you charge the president with a crime after he left office?" Oops.
Asked and answered. Twice.
