Jeffrey Epstein is getting his comeuppance for alleged sex trafficking of underage girls.
Is it rude to point out that Epstein is an old Trump pal, of whom Trump once said this?
And that Epstein once said this?
Or that Trump has been credibly accused by numerous women of sexual assault, including rape?
Or that Trump admitted to serial sexual assault on the infamous Access Hollywood tape?
Or that Trump once said he’d probably be dating Ivanka if she weren’t his daughter?
Or that he endorsed Roy Moore, who has been credibly accused of inappropriate behavior toward underage girls?
Or that Trump allegedly barged into the dressing rooms of Miss Teen USA contestants?
Or that Trump once told a 14-year-old girl that he'd be dating her in a couple of years?
Or that Trump was once accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at — ewww, that’s inconvenient — one of Jeffrey Epstein’s parties?
Or, well, how about this blast from the not-so-distant past?
Exactly one year ago tomorrow, the BBC ran a documentary — just days before the pr*sident’s visit to the UK to stress-test the Queen’s creaking nonagenarian heart — alleging that Trump behaved inappropriately toward girls at parties during the ‘80s and ‘90s. Some of the girls were allegedly as young as 14.
Via Vice News:
Trump’s behavior toward younger women was described by a man who attended the same parties as like that of a “predator.”
One of the women, Barbara Pilling, said she met Trump at a party in New York in the late 1980s while she was a young model. She alleged that then-businessman Trump asked her how old she was and approved when she said she was 17, allegedly responding: “Oh, great. So you're not too old and not too young. That's just great.”
Pilling said she was not the youngest girl at the party, claiming there were girls as young as 14 attending. “I felt I was in the presence of a shark,” Pilling said, describing Trump.
And according to one anonymous source interviewed by the BBC, Trump was a willing participant in these grotesque shenanigans:
“These were guys who could easily be [the models'] fathers — two times over. [It was] kind of like a feeding frenzy,” he said.
Trump, in particular, was “notorious” for his behavior toward younger women, the man said.
“This guy was like a predator in action. The next day or days after we would hear about it, he would brag about it to his friends and it would get around that he scored. Maybe one or two girls at a time, which is what he loved to do.”
Of course, Trump will claim to anyone who will listen that he knows very little about Jeffrey Epstein and probably couldn’t pick him out of a lineup — which, come to think of it, he might be asked to do eventually.
But seriously, you wouldn’t let this guy within 20 miles of a Hot Topic, so how can he still be in the White House?
Honestly, I’ll never understand.
