Note the name of the website cited by Jim Walden — “Enemies of the People” — precisely the terminology Trump used to describe Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (and a term Trump has used in the past to describe various members of the media and their outlets).
Link to Walden’s statement:
Statement from Jim Walden, Attorney for Christopher Krebs, former Director of CISA
New York, NY, December 9, 2020 — Yesterday, Jim Walden of Walden Macht & Haran, attorney for Christopher Krebs, the former Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, filed a lawsuit accusing the Trump campaign and its agents of fomenting a campaign of violence toward those who uphold the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.
Today, Walden states, “We became aware tonight that a shadow group has launched a campaign on a website called ‘enemies of the people’ proposing the assassination of various Republican and Democratic leaders who they falsely claim are complicit in manipulating the 2020 presidential campaign. If anyone needs to be reminded that public calls for violence beget violence, this is the clarion call. If blood is spilled, it is on the hands of the president, his campaign, his lawyers, and the silent Republicans standing in the president’s shadow. We have deployed every conceivable resource to counteract this tangible step toward terrorism — although it may be domestic or foreign actors trying to stoke the violence. Either way, this toxic campaign proves the truth of everything we said in our lawsuit yesterday.”
One would assume that Krebs still has connections in DHS. And one must also assume that Christopher Wray and the FBI are on this, despite Trump and Bill Barr putting their fat duffs on the scale.
Nothing about this is unexpected given what we have witnessed in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin. Creeping fascism and the aiding and abetting of Trump’s incitements to violence by Republicans in the Senate and state houses are putting elected officials who stand up to these lies and conspiracy theories in great peril.
A month ago on November 9, an anonymous Republican source told the Washington Post:
“What is the downside for humoring him for this little bit of time? No one seriously thinks the results will change,” said one senior Republican official.
Here’s the downside and it was obvious from the day Biden was declared the winner.
We are reaping what these complicit, sniveling sycophants and their leader have sown. The most serious domestic terrorism threat is armed right wing violence. We can only hope the FBI will pounce before the worst comes to pass.

Website targeting U.S. election officials draws attention of intelligence agencies
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The harassment campaign against U.S. election officials following President Donald Trump’s defeat took an ominous turn on Thursday after a website surfaced that accused them of “treason” and included photographs and home addresses, drawing the attention of U.S. intelligence agencies.
The site, along with several associated social media accounts, included photographs of Republican and Democratic officials, with rifle crosshairs superimposed on them.
The FBI said on Thursday that it was aware of the issue. U.S. intelligence agencies are also looking into the website and its origins, a source said on Thursday.
…
Experts who track right-wing extremists said they did not know who was behind the online effort, which includes several websites and associated social media accounts. But they described it as a serious threat.
“This is absolutely terrifying,” said Heidi Beirich, co-founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. “This is among the most threatening websites I’ve seen.”
