It may be much darker than it was yesterday. According to one source the events show Paul:
- may have suspected he had been exposed 10 days ago;
- discovered two of his companions at a Kentucky event two weeks ago tested positive a week ago;
- then took the test himself at that time;
- and has been knowingly exposing his co-reptilians, instead of quarantining himself, for 7 days not 7 hours.
- Best case scenario: it is only one news source, and they are wrong.
- Reasonable case scenario: it is a valid source and Rand has been knowingly exposing his contacts for 7 days with a high probability that he had been exposed to the virus.
- Worst case scenario: Rand caught it at the same time his friends caught it (March 7th.) and has been exposing everyone he’s been with since early March.
Something slithered across the transom at 9:34 this (Sunday) evening, East Coast Time:
Here are the deets:
It turns out Rand Paul took his coronavirus test six or seven days ago, according to Jake Tapper of CNN. This means he’s spent a week running around infecting people while he was awaiting his test results. This means he put a significant number of lives at risk – including potentially the entire Senate. Not shockingly, a number of Senators are angry at him, including some of his Republican colleagues.
I’ll admit I also read The Palmer Report and scan the HuffPo every time I check my electric Intertoobs. Palmer has some good writers and sometimes provides Rachel Maddow class insight.
With that being said I just searched “Jake Tapper AND Rand Paul”:
Apologies for the screenshots, I don’t do no twitting !
- He had gone to the Speed Ball event on March 7th. where people were infected.
- “A week and a half ago” — that would be March 12th. — he closed down his offices.
- March 15th. was last Sunday. — when his co-infected cohorts were notified they had been infected.
- That same day he then decided to get tested after some soul searching (spoiler alert: he didn’t find one.)
So if Jake’s source is to be believed Typhoid Randy has been recklessly breathing on his colleagues for at least 7 days instead of 7 hours. And he was shamed into getting the test because of his lung issues.
My spidey sense however tells me he strongly suspected he was infected when he closed his offices and sent his office staff home 10 days ago.
The Republicans will probably move his office out by the dumpster. How many old Republican fossils did he infect over the last two weeks? And all from a contaminated Speed Ball !
The Irony — it burns !
