Newsweek is reporting that Presumptive nominee VP Joe Biden has chosen his top 3 Female short list for VP
First is name I had been floating around, the first Latina US Senator
Biden reportedly told former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is in his "top three" picks for the role of his running mate, and according to Mediaite, Reid has expressed his support for her as the former vice president's vice presidential nominee.
Reid believes Cortez Masto, the first Latina Senator in the U.S., will help Biden garner support from members of the Latino community in the general election.
Now the other two have been less upfront but people “ in the know” say
Although Biden declined to name any candidates, unnamed sources with direct knowledge of the matter told CNBC that Senators Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar are also on the shortlist, as well as Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Florida Rep. Val Demings.
emphasis mine.
About Senator Cortez-Masto:
Cortez Masto, 55, has been serving as senior Nevada Democratic Senator since 2017, after having served as the attorney general of the state from 2007 to 2015. Before she was elected Nevada attorney general, Cortez Masto had worked as a civil attorney in Las Vegas and a U.S. criminal prosecutor in Washington D.C.
I will be writing a diary on this Latina trailblazer on Sunday
Biden’s final note on his thinking
"The most important thing—and I've actually talked to Barack about this—the most important thing is that there has to be someone who, the day after they're picked, is prepared to be president of the United States of America if something happened," Biden said

now Trump….. Stable Genius decided to not air already made Ads touting the economy
his Trump campaign ad is a throwback to a time that's hard to remember now. Entitled "The Fighter," it features African-American and Latino voters extolling the healthy U.S. economy created by Donald Trump. ''Look at our economy, look what he's done. How could you not support the president?" asks an African-American woman wearing a red MAGA hat.
The ad encapsulated what the Trump campaign strategy was going to do: emphasize low unemployment, rising wages and a strong stock market. It was also an effort to increase support for Trump among minority voters—a tack the campaign telegraphed in its Super Bowl ad touting criminal justice reform.
Team Trump believed a bump in the African-American vote from the eight per cent he got in 2016 to even the low teens in 2020 would turn what might otherwise be a close race into an electoral rout. The overall theme, campaign manager Brad Parscale said, was obvious for a president presiding over peace and prosperity: ''Nothing says 'winning' like President Donald Trump and his stellar record of accomplishment for all Americans."
He is going to double down on the “ dementia/senile Biden” a door he clearly should not open…
