I am sharing this not because readers here aren't well informed about the psychopathological condition of malignant narcissism which Donald Trump is afflicted with. If you’re reading this you are already familiar with the many aspects of malignant narcissism and The Dark Triad which manifest themselves in the president. I am sharing it because of where it was published.
It is also an excellent article and well worth reading.
For Europeans who are still trying to make sense out of Trump’s behavior, for those who find it inexplicable, hopefully this will help them grasp the why's and wherefores of behavior they find downright bizarre. They will undoubtedly read this and compare what it says about Trump to their own top leaders. Even Boris Johnson who may be the most similar to Trump as far as his personality goes doesn’t come close to his level of psychopatholgy. Israeli readers may find many similarities to Benjamin Netanyahu.
American historians already rank Trump as one of the worst, if the the worst, president in history. Amierican mental health experts made the case that he suffers from the most dangerous and extreme form of mental illness. (Note: Most severe psychiatric disorders don’t make those who have them dangerous.)
