The FBI uncovered a terrorist plot to bomb the California’s State Democratic Party Headquarters in Sacramento.

Federal prosecutors have charged two men for conspiring to attack the Democratic Party headquarters in Sacramento, Calif., with authorities saying the men also tried to coordinate with an extremist militia group.
Ian Benjamin Rogers, 45, and Jarrod Copeland, 37, “began planning to attack targets they associated with Democrats after the 2020 presidential election and sought support from an anti-government militia group,” the Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a release Friday.
The two allegedly planned to blow up the John L. Burton Democratic Headquarters. Prosecutors say Rogers was arrested with possession of five pipe bombs, 49 firearms, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
According to the DOJ, Rogers told Copeland in January, “I want to blow up a democrat building bad,” adding later “after the 20th we go to war,” in reference to President Biden’s inauguration.
Right Wing terrorists have an expansive sense of entitlement, and they can’t seem to tolerate losing a national election. Their 49 firearms shows how saturated in guns the Right Wing extremist subculture is. One suspect had a “white privilege card.” The FBI did a superb job.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas told senators on Wednesday that the greatest domestic threat facing the United States came from what they both called “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists.”
“Specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race,” Mr. Garland told the Senate Appropriations Committee.
The cabinet secretaries’ comments reflected a dramatic shift in tone from the Trump administration, which deliberately downplayed the threat from white supremacists and similar groups, in part to elevate the profile of what former President Donald J. Trump described as violent threats from radical left-wing groups.
Unfortunately I doubt this won’t be the last Right Wing terrorist plot that comes to light.
UPDATE:
A breaking story:
A former Trump administration official is calling the Republican Party the “No. 1 national security threat."
Miles Taylor, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official, made the comment during a Thursday interview on MSNBC’s “The Reid Out.”
“I’ve spent my whole career not as a political operative. I’ve never worked on a campaign in my life other than campaigning against Trump. I’m a national security guy. I’ve worked in national security against ISIS, al Qaeda and Russia,” Taylor said.
“And the No. 1 national security threat I’ve ever seen in my life to this country’s democracy is the party that I’m in — the Republican Party. It is the No. 1 security national security threat to the United States of America,” he said.
That’s a jaw dropping admission for a Republican official from the Trump Administration to make.
