The headline says it all. I am trying to find an experienced Attorney or Advocate that deals with the Military. There is a well known bait and switch that happens to Inductees. The recruiter signs them up to a term of service contingent on the inductee receiving specific training. At induction the recruit is given his actual service contract that doesn’t match the original deal sheet and has language that repudiates any other understandings or offers. This just happened to the son of a friend of mine. Her son wants to serve as he promised, being trained as he was promised. He is 19 and is on the aspergers spectrum. His single mom wants to help him get things put right and is looking for the right Attorney or Advocate that knows how to navigate the system to get the desired outcome.
please add any referrals in the comments or PM me if that is more appropriate. I have seen the DailyKos community rise to the occasion and I am hoping that this will be one of those times.
thanks to all for any help.

Update. The units soldiers were told where they were going. They were also given sealed orders not to be opened until a designated time the soldier opened his orders and to his surprise he was assigned to the billet he had been promised. He showed the orders to his Drill Sargent and the Sargent mumbled something about a snafu. The soldier and his Mom are over the moon.Thank you to all that weighed in. I won’t forget that when I asked for help you were there for this boy. I was feeling pretty hopeless. Good things happen when you least expect them.
