My daughter was dropped off at her high school for one day this past week. She usually takes the bus but was running late.
This high school is fairly big, and she was let off in an unfamiliar area and was wandering around looking confused. The bus usually lets her off somewhere else.
A guy she said she believed was a teacher (she wasn't sure) waved her over towards a set of double doors and said, "Come here".
She was uncertain where she was going and assumed he was trying to direct her towards classes. It was instead an auditorium with people teaching some kind of bible class. Everyone there had small bibles, and they were handing worksheets out.
Needless to say, I am furious and come Monday, I am delving into this further. The thing that gets me is if I reverse this scenario, I mean, let my Atheist ass be teaching something they consider to be communist or socialist, they would lose their collective shit.
Yet I know when I bring this up they will crawl onto a cross and impale themselves as if it is their right to go after someone else child with their religious ideology. My daughter and I are both nonbelievers.
Dude, a school is not a church or an indoctrination center.
Not to mention this is dangerous AF--who was that guy if he wasn't a teacher and why the hell was he even there?
