Marjorie Taylor Greene is not an intelligent person. And she is not shy about advertising the fact. Although she is unconscious of the fact she is doing so. She is too dumb to be that self-aware.
Twitter gives Greene the platform she needs to promote her brand of cluelessness. And she is indefatigable in using it. In one day — December 24th — she revealed her world-class dumbassery three times.
I will start with her take on Pelosi and the J6 Capitol Hill insurrection.
Let us parse her foolishness. “Most of these people were nonviolent” Really? She must be aware videos show the mob was armed, aggressive, and not acting like a bunch of sight-seeing tourists. And if they were harmless, why did she not say hello to her visitors?
Does a lack of violence mean a crime has not been committed? How would she feel if I walked uninvited into her office, sat at her desk, and went through her papers — nonviolently? No harm, no foul? If the Capitol police arrested me, would she wave them off?
But that is just her opener. She completely loses the plot by suggesting that Nancy Pelosi had the authority to “bring in the National Guard”. There are 54 National Guard units. The DC National Guard is under the sole command of the President. The other units are under the co-command of the state or territorial governors where they are located and the Department of Defense.
“Nancy Pelosi is complicit” is a dumb statement by a low-IQ gum-flapper. It is like saying that FDR was complicit with the Japanese in bombing Pearl Harbor. I will grant you that as Speaker of the House Pelosi has one-third of the responsibility of the Capitol Police (the other two-thirds are the Senate Leader and the capitol Architect)
However, Greene blames Pelosi for failing to understand that the President of the United States would give full-throated encouragement to people he knew to be armed to attack the Capitol. Greene is dumb enough to think that being insufficiently prepared to counter a crime makes you responsible for that crime. How do you get to be so stupid?
Next, Greene gets confused by border policy. She says Biden refuses to stop Mexican cartels trafficking Chinese fentanyl across our southern border.
She offers no evidence for her contention — just her unsupported opinion. An opinion that she contradicted when she retweeted a Fox News personality who reported significant fentanyl interdictions.
Greene presents a classic case of Orwell’s ‘doublethink’ (the acceptance of or mental capacity to accept contrary opinions or beliefs simultaneously — usually as a result of political indoctrination). She claims Biden refuses to stop fentanyl trafficking while she highlights that the Biden administration is stopping fentanyl trafficking. That is nuts.
In addition, Greene took up the cause of a Twitter user, @oilfield_Rando, who Twitter permanently banned after he tweeted, “Your math is off, suck my balls” to some other user
Note:
- Hero to conservatives Elon Musk is in charge of Twitter bans.
- Rando was not banned for commenting on Zelenskyy.
- Appearing on TV is the springboard that launched Greene´s boy Trump into the Presidency.
- Ukraine got the money, not Zelenskyy. And they are fighting America´s enemy Russia.
All of us have said some dumb stuff. But Greene is a serial moron. She is already famous for fire-starting, Jewish space lasers. The Gazpacho police. And regurgitating every lie offered to “prove” the 2020 election was fake.
And then there was the classic “peach tree dish”
And as for “fake”, she had no problem tweeting a doctored picture of the Highland Park shooter who killed seven and wounded 48.
Blind to irony, Greene proves she is a victim of Dunning-Kroger syndrome as she tweets people “are not stupid” while being a moron. And adding to her reputation as a boob, she insisted that it was not the guns that caused the devastation as she also tweeted, “even with no guns at all, evil will find a way.”
I grant her that sometimes it does. But not very often. As the low murder rate in every country that is not awash in guns attests to.
But that is the nature of stupidity. It is comfortable. You can believe whatever you want without putting in the hard work to prove it is true. And if anyone challenges your thinking, you can defensively claim you were “joking” or “being sarcastic”.
