On Monday, President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to Kyiv. This is the first time that Biden has visited since Russia invaded Ukraine in late February 2022. Biden’s choice of using President’s Day to take photos in Kyiv alongside Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was an important diplomatic move, and a powerful illustration of American support of Ukraine’s independence from the Russian oligarchy as represented by Vladimir Putin.
More superficially, it stole away headlines from cranks like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her attempt to relitigate the Jan. 6 insurrection as some secret deep state operation. Greene had hoped to drop big news in a coordinated misinformation campaign alongside Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday, and was big mad about Biden’s very presidential President’s Day appearance in the European theater.
She sent out a series of posts that can only have been written by Greene, including one where she wrote, on President’s Day, “This is incredibly insulting. Today on our President’s Day, Joe Biden, the President of the United States chose Ukraine over America, while forcing the American people to pay for Ukraine’s government and war. I can not express how much Americans hate Joe Biden.”

Here’s a quick reminder of a truly disliked and unloved former president of the United States.
What is he up to today? Oh, right, he’s fundraising on President’s Day by offering up a MAGA-merchandise sale. True story. Greene is not done as she has nothing but time on her hands being a policy-free representative, and followed that unpopular sentiment by posting a montage of Biden’s visit so far with Zelenskyy, writing: “Zelenskyy can’t even wear a tie as he greets the President of the United States. He gladly takes our money in sweat shirts and t-shirts, but Biden is dressed up. So insulting. America Last!!!” Is she plugging in a style term “Trump” into ChatGPT and spitting out tweets?

She followed that up with an even higher frequency of barftastry, tweeting something about World War III, “Biden didn’t go to East Palestine, Ohio on President’s Day. He went to Ukraine, a NON-NATO nation, whose leader is an actor and is apparently now commanding our United States military to world war. We must impeach this America Last fool before it’s too late.”
