Contrary to the resounding silence from the MSM, VP Kamala Harris is out there every day, fighting for the people. This weekly series will cover VP Kamala Harris’ work throughout the week each week. Going forward, it will be published at 8 am ET on Tuesdays. For daily updates, see my MVP Kamala Harris comments in the Abbreviated Pundit Roundup.
VP Harris started the week (Sat. Jan. 6) in Myrtle Beach, S.C. where she delivered the keynote address at the 7th Episcopal District AME Women’s Missionary Society annual retreat.
Great background story from WMBF news: Sandra Anderson, President of the Women’s Missionary Society says VP Harris by accepting the society’s invitation to speak to a “group of 1200 missionaries” “sent a strong message to us that we are somebody”.

Story by Abraham Kenmore — South Carolina Daily Gazette
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, VP Kamala Harris led a roundtable discussion on voting rights and protections with advocates and leaders in Atlanta, Georgia. In her opening remarks VP Harris spoke of “fighting for basic and fundamental freedoms, the promise of our country, and in particular, the right to vote”.
Readout of her remarks and readout of the meeting. News story (same as below for those who don’t like Twitter). The group is expected to reconvene in Washington, DC in February.
At her events, VP Harris always takes time to encourage young leaders in their endeavors:
Thursday, Jan. 11, VP Harris visited Eastway Middle School in Charlotte, NC to discuss gun violence prevention and mental health resources for schools across the US. She met with students, traumatized by gun violence, where she listened to the impact of gun violence on their lives and their experiences as to what could be done to alleviate their trauma and to prevent gun violence. In a separate roundtable discussion, she outlined what she had heard from the students, announced initiatives from the Biden-Harris administration to address these issues and listened to input from parents, teachers, counselors and community leaders.
VP Harris oversees the first White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. “Every child in America should be free from the horror of gun violence” -VP Kamala Harris. Her announcements:
