This is going to be a very brief post, but I am not going to shy away from stating the obvious.
Donald Trump complained that as part of the search warrant for Mira Lago that Joe Biden had sanctioned the FBI to shoot and kill him. Never mind the fact that standard boiler plate for any federal search warrant gives the Feds the right to defend themselves against violence.
I cannot understand why Trump would have a problem with that. He has argued that a President should have total immunity so why not Biden, who is the current President. Had Biden actually ordered the FBI to shoot Trump and they had done so, then the only remedy would be impeachment. Which the house would of course do forthwith, but they may not get 67 Senators to convict him. And, barring a conviction by the Senate, Biden would be immune from further prosecution according to Trump and his attorneys under their theory of absolute Presidential immunity.
I do not see why he would object to allowing Biden to have the FBI or Seal Team Six take him out under Presidential authority. Well actually I can see why he would object. The Trump and GOP rules would only grant total and absolute immunity to GOP Presidents. I am sure that Alito and Thomas are trying to find a way to reach that conclusion but the best they can do at this point is hold off a ruling till after the election and then grant total immunity if Trump wins and strike down immunity if he loses.
