Interesting vistors in New York on July 4

What would George Washington say? :)

A British aircraft carrier is allowed to sail into New York Harbor on the 4th of July!  So much for "homeland security." :)

"Fleet flagship HMS Invincible returns home to Portsmouth on Friday (July 16) from a series of successful exercises along the east coast of America."

Throughout the deployment the ship was supported by the Band of her Majesty's Royal Marines from the Naval College at Dartmouth. They provided some of the highlights of the deployment with their superb performances at all manner of events, from concerts onboard to appearances on national television shows in America."

Actually, I'll say this for the British, they are good sports about losing their colonies.
