Check this out:
Remember how in the last presidential election thousands of (black Democrat) voters were "scrubbed"
from the voter lists in Florida?
Remember how black (Democrat) voters were turned away from the polls in Florida because they didn't have TWO forms of picture ID?
Remember all that crap?
Ok I live in a upper class, Republican, lilly white area in California. Something odd (although minor) happened last election cycle here, the one where the Republicans were able to throw Gov. Davis out of office and get The Terminator elected.
My father is a Republican. He lives in a very high income area near me. Some dude moved into a house accross the street. He's white, Republican and rich.
So my father tells me that when he went to vote, this new neighbor (who he barely knows) was there at the polling place to vote at the same time. Problem was this dude hadn't sent in his regristration to vote for is new address, or something and the poll worker wasn't going to let him vote.
Here's the punchline. My father tells the poll worker "Oh it's OK...he's my neighbor...I'll vouch for him....."
And the poll worker said "That's good enough" and they let the dude vote!!!
WTF?.....Is this really how our system works?....
