Anyone who is concerned with equal rights, and especially those in the LGBT community, please get the word out to any of your friends and colleagues who may be considering voting for John "Turncoat" Kerry.
Having lived in Massachusetts for over 12 years, I have come to learn that Kerry will say--and do--anything to win an election. This is also the man, who, when asked in the Des Moines debate on MSNBC in November, called on the Mass. legislature to fulfill their constitutional duty in light of the Goodridge SJC decision. Now he says he disagrees with the decision. Go figure!
I am a constituent of Kerry who formerly viewed him with antipathy. I now actively loathe the man, for any number of reasons.
Here's an excerpt from the Boston Globe's website:
Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, the front-runner for the party's presidential nomination, said in a statement, ''I believe and have fought for the principle that we should protect the fundamental rights of gay and lesbian couples - from inheritance to health benefits. I believe the right answer is civil unions. I oppose gay marriage and disagree with the Massachusetts Court's decision.''
