With the Detroit Mayoral Election coming soon, I thought I would introduce you to possibly the worst mayor this city has seen (and that's saying a lot),
Kwame Kilpatrick. Now, you may ask why pick on a Democratic Mayor? Well, no matter who wins the election, the next mayor will be a Democrat, though some work harder for the party than others.
Due to factors that are admittedly out the Administration's control (such has the horrid economy), the budget is in a mess. However, the Mayor somehow finds the justification to charge up the City credit card.
"Based on the edited records the city provided, the Free Press reported two weeks ago that Kilpatrick charged more than $210,000 to his city MasterCard during his first 33 months in office. He justified pricey meals at upscale restaurants and other charges as the cost of luring business and federal dollars to his cash-strapped city."
What can I say? Does anyone thing the other candidates will do better? Does anyone else have a nominee for worst Mayor?
