Two DC Liberals with a Truck Want to Deliver Supplies

After fuming about the mess in N.O. for a few days, I am trying to do something about it. My buddy owns a company that has an old 24' panel truck (like a smallish furniture van). I have gas money and time, being self employed. We are Annapolis MD (near Wash. DC and Baltimore) and would like to take a load or two of supplies down to the affected area.

So far we have not gotten word back from the local food bank, but there are one or two other places we can contact. Before doing that, I thought we might turn to all the folks at KOS. Do you know anyone in our area willing to donate a small truckload of supplies, or, better yet, any charities that already have received a donation of food, but need transport?  The national charities seem so busy that we can't even get through on the phone.

And do any other Kossaks have trucks and time to donate. Imagine a DailyKos convoy.
