Tomorrow (in the US) is March 20, a day of anti-war protests to mark the the anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.
Our friends in San Francisco have gotten an early start. Last year, in my little town, anti-war protesters gathered at a local park containing a recreation of the Liberty Bell. Across the street, twice as many pro war demonstrators gathered.
They held signs with witty sayings like "America:Love It or Leave It," "United We Stand," and "Hippies Smell."
I hope this year is different. My ten year old has been bugging me all week for a committment to attend the anti-war protest in our little town again. We'll be there, my wife and me and our three sons.
What are you doing tomorrow?
