This is a good story to push into the news.

Most people in this country are pro-choice, and most people are anti-abortion. The fact that abortions have increased under Bush's leadership reaffirms what most people believe: abortions should be safe, legal, and rare. And the best way to make sure abortions are rare is to work toward preventing unwanted pregnancies.
The best way to prevent abortions is not to outlaw them. Prohibition does not deter action, in many cases it makes the situation worse (think 1920s, alcohol.
The best way to prevent abortions is to teach sex education, it is to teach contraception, it is to teach abstinence, and it is to have a strong economy and adequate health care.
These are all things Bush has not done, and in many cases has actively worked against.
If we want to have less abortions in this country, if we want to have less unwanted pregnancies, we need to be smart, not dogmatic.
The majority of the people in the country feel this way.
Let's remind them that Kerry agrees with their views, and Bush does not. And let's remind them what the results can be when we elect somebody who treats public policy with dogma instead of intelligence: in this case, an increase in abortions.
