'Crude' but spot on, this Greenpeace video clip is too sad, too seemingly true. Should I say enjoy?
Oh, and many thanks to the Museum of Left Wing Lunacy for the heads up!
This clip of a Greenpeace television ad is crossposted from my
site 7-21-05. Jesus's General picked it up and I expected another blog or two to spread for everyone else but since I haven't seen that happen, I thought I'd bring it here. Besides I am curious about something...
What do you think of it? I received only three comments about it, two pro and one not-so-pro.
At TMLWL the original post created a rather predictable firestorm (which I can say I had some flame-fanning part in--but I was very respectful--logical--you know, predictably liberal), but other than my site and JG's, I really haven't seen libs say much about it.
Wingers say it is disgusting and an example of how generally infantile and mean/cruel our far left-wing is (into which they lump Move-on, Moore, Dean and Kennedy and oh yeah--Marcos and this site). Are they correct?
Are we embarassed into our own silence when the obvious is expressed by means too explicit, direct, incendiary? Is the video too crude? If so, for whom and in expressing what? If not, why aren't we championing this ad and Greenpeace?
