According to the 2000 US Census there were approximately 196,899,193 Women in the United States and according to John McCain Sarah Palin is the best choice to be president if something happens to him? With so many Americans supporting the McCain ticket and the prospect of Sarah Palin being a 72-year- old heartbeat away from being President, what does it say about the American mentality today?
My problem with John McCain and Sarah Palin! Let take a trip into the future. Nov 4th 2008, John McCain and Sarah Palin suspiciously win the election by a small margin and occupy the White House. Fast forward two Months ................. January 2009 ...... John McCain has an unfortunate yet devastating medical situation which renders him incapable of performing the duties that the office of the President requires. Sarah Palin by default is sworn in as President of The United States on January 20th 2009 thus becoming the most powerful person in the world. Now this is where my problem starts.............
With the United States having approximately 150,000 soldiers currently deployed to two separate combat zones, a world-wide economic crisis that directly threatens America’s security, a housing market that has collapsed and racial tensions on the rise, specifically because of the atmosphere that the GOP has cultivated, this is who John McCain thinks is the most capable person other than himself to lead America through these tough times if something happens to him. Wow!!! As I sit here in Iraq I previously wondered what the hell this guy was thinking as he chose Sarah Palin to be, as Jack Cafferty so eloquently put it http://www.cnn.com/... a 72-year- old heartbeat away from being president of the United States. But now my wonderment has changed into amazement which has morphed into bewilderment as I watch so many Americans show up to Sarah Palin’s rallies in support of her possibly leading this country. What in the hell is wrong with these people? Never mind the fact that she is terrifyingly under-qualified and a disastrous communicator. One thing specifically bothers me as a Son, Brother, Husband and especially as a FATHER and an American..... As early as 2006 Sarah Palin has been chumming it up with the Alaska Independence Party http://themoderatevoice.com/...
I am sure all of you have heard about it already but for some strange reason the national media refuses to address this. DAMMIT!!!!! I am a soldier here in Iraq, separated from my children, volunteering to protect the United States of America and Sarah Palin is what is offered as possibly the next leader of our country. WHAT!!!!! HELL NO!!!! American’s should be outraged! And the American’s who are not outraged should be ASHAMED! There are too many F%#*ing sons and daughters who have already lost their lives in Iraq and then to be asked to accept the possibility of such a person to lead this country. Do these people take their sons and daughters safety into consideration when they are standing in those hate filled rallies. Do they not realize that John McCain’s delusional decision making process is what will decide if soldiers are put into another ill-conceived war? And if not John McCain, Sarah Palin’s proven incompetency is what is going to decide the fate of America for the coming years. Are these people totally out of it or do they just not care? Come on America! We have to demand more from our elected officials. As a Son, Brother, Husband and Father I am concerned at the possibility of John McCain becoming the next President and I am terrified at the Possibility of Sarah Palin getting anywhere near the Presidency.
