I have pretty much resigned myself to the reality that the bulk of the good issues articles are pretty much not coming back until Reagan-worship week is over. But in the meantime we at least have a few more balanced assessments of the effects of Reagan's policies. (1,2)
We also have two great articles from the Center for American Progress, one describing the homeless and hunger problem in America (including almost 14 million kids), and the other providing talking points against the prevailing wisdom that we are experiencing a sustainable economic recovery. (5)

Expensing Stock Options
More from the campaign contribution-obsessed Congress dragging their feet on doing the right thing with stock options expensing. To those who may think I spend too much time on this issue- tell that to those thousands of lower and middle level employees of Enron and Worldcom that lost their pensions and have no alternative but to work deep into old age.
