A third of the House Progressive Caucus has already signed a letter calling for a full investigation into the Chamber of Commerce conspiracy against the American people.
This effort, led by @RepHankJohnson, is an absolute MUST for our civil liberties.
So, the question here is this: What are we going to do to support Congressmen who display this kind of courage.
We've complained for a long time that Democrats lacked spines. I think it takes that and more to step up like this. The national Chamber of Commerce is basically an agent of foreign powers, well funded and completely corrupt. They will do anything to get at the Congressmen calling them to account for their crimes.
We can't demonize the employees of Hunton Williams, HBGary Federal, Berico, and Palantir. They aren't Nazis, they didn't commit atrocities ... but what they are is:
Common criminals. Garden variety gangsters.
We have a law to deal with stuff like this - RICO - the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
They can't sweep this one under the state secrets rug. All of the companies are U.S. based, the targets are here, and it's just flat criminal what was planned.
